Hello! I’m Olivia and I love love love to photograph people!

Here are a few more things I love...

My two boys (equal parts amazing chaos and gifts from heaven)

The sun, the sea, mermaids

A good run. A good book

Cowboy boots and flannel pajamas (but not together)

Browsing the library

Traveling to amazing places. Meeting amazing people

The opera. Guacamole and chocolate peanut butter malt balls (but not together)

I’d rather spend two hours in a gourmet grocery store than two hours at the mall

If I were immensely rich, I wouldn’t choose to spend my money on a big house or a fancy car

I’d have someone do my hair for me every day

A little about my photography …

I became a photographer when I was 12. Really, I’m not kidding.

I got my first Kodak instamatic camera for my birthday that year and I’ve never stopped taking photos since! I spent my allowance and babysitting money on that fancy 110 film and getting my photos developed at Walgreens. And here I am … still spending my allowance on my photography! (ummm … thanks honey)

As I got older and began to actually contribute something to all those family and friends gatherings I always asked the “what can I bring?” question and the answer was always the same: your camera. I’m still not quite sure if it was because I was that good of a photographer or that bad of a cook!

And yes, I’ve had some technical training over the years but I’ve learned that that’s not the stuff that’s really taught me the most. The ways I’ve learned the most is by hanging out with people and learning about them. Knowing their stories so that I can capture all that they are in the photos I take.

I’m one of those very lucky people who gets to work at the job they always  dreamed of doing.  And for this I feel so super blessed!

So enough about me … Now I can’t wait to get to know YOU!
